Clay County High School
Safety handouts were provided by the Governor's Highway Safety Office. Handouts are placed on the front desk for parents and students to take and read whenever they want to. Students receiving their permits during the school year have to request a permit paper from the front office. They take the paper to driver testing center located in Cookeville, Tennessee. Clay County High School staples the GHSO information to the permit paper to ensure that each student will receive the information. Also, students that require a parking pass from the school during the year will also receive this information. Clay County High School is taking these steps to better equip our youth with the knowledge of the driving laws in Tennessee, and the hopes that they will be safer drivers.
