Walker Valley High School students volunteered for a regional Child Car Seat Safety Day through following ways:
1) Greeting families & children that came through our Child Car Seat inspection station (76 cars came through)
2) Experienced the seat belt convincer and assisted officers in overseeing the convincer for others
3) Assisted the Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department in safety activities for children
4) Served food to volunteers and participants
5) Assisted at the face painting station for children
6) Helped with set-up and clean-up
