Cinema Drive

Project Description

On August 23, 2024, approximately 250 VBHS students had the opportunity to participate in Cinema Drive. Children and Parent Resource Group and The Tennessee Highway Safety Office offer “Cinema Drive” free of charge. This exciting program is provided through a grant, which fully covers all screening costs to the school. This program is the perfect blend of education and entertainment which offers the most sophisticated 3D, multi-sensory, interactive, safe driving experiences for schools across the country. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and we ensure that you do not need to personally do anything! Cinema Drive is executed by a team of experts who will arrive at your school’s auditorium 2 hours prior to the program, with all needed equipment (including a 3D projector, special 3D screen, surround sound system, interactive remote control units and 3D glasses for each student). Cinema Drive can accommodate up to 200 students per show and we can schedule multiple shows during the same day to cover as many students as needed! After running this experience in front of 500,000+ students across the country, we can assure you that this evidence based experience will make a huge impact. At least 18% of your students who are at risk in your school, will change their intentions and behavior on the roads, after viewing this experience. We are also proud to announce that this experience is not a one-time event. At the end of the show, all students will be invited to download an amazing app to play a 3 week game that will make sure the messages are retained!
