DCHS students: KeAnthonee and Landon Question 1- What’s your name and employer? Dustin Despain, Dyer County Sheriffs Dept. Question 2- What’s your job like, and what does an average day on the job look like for you? It’s never a dull moment, keeping the school safe and the transportation in and out of the school Question 3- How much time do you spend in a work zone or along a busy road? Before and after school hours Question 4- Does it ever feel unsafe? Have you ever heard about or witnessed any accidents in a work zone? One time he was a deputy stepping out of the car and he got ran over Question 5- Why is Work Zone Awareness Week important? You have to pay attention or you will affect a lot of people, not just yourself Question 6- What advice do you want to give to teenage drivers? Put the phones down, slow down, and wear your seatbelt Ouestion 7- What is the most difficult part of your job? Having to see people in their worst moment Question 8- What is the best part of your job? Getting to help the school system and see it better Question 9- For our upcoming graduates, what route do you suggest for them to take to be a part of your team? Go to college.
