The Criminal Justice class completed a DUI Impairment Safe Driving Course and program with SRO Officers that included driving a Side-by-Side UTV on a course in the Football Stadium parking lot without impairment goggles and then with impairment goggle to demonstrate the effects of driving impaired. Also, class members completed a field sobriety test. The SRO officers talked the students through what they experienced at each station and the consequences of driving impaired. Students were then interviewed by the school’s AV department describing what they learned and how it would make a difference in their driving behaviors.
