During an SHS football game, students participated in a Fatal Vision impaired-driving activity to help demonstrate the dangers of drinking and driving. Students wore Fatal Vision goggles while attempting simple tasks, allowing them to experience how alcohol impairment can affect vision, balance, coordination, and decision-making. The activity gave students a safe, hands-on way to better understand the risks and real-life consequences of impaired driving.
