Students organized a school wide dress up week to kick off April Awareness – each day was dedicated to Brittany and Dustin Dillard who were killed in a car accident due to a drunk driver. Day #1 was “Brittany’s Christmas” since it was her favorite holiday and the car accident occurred while they were driving home on Christmas Day Each day, pictures were taken of students and staff participating, announcements were made by club members where they always signed off “Buckle Up, Phone Down, Drive Safe and Sober” and posts were made on the Brittany’s Kids Instagram account
