Students organized a school wide dress up week to kick off April Awareness – each day was dedicated to Brittany and Dustin Dillard who were killed in a car accident due to a drunk driver. Day #4 was “Character Day” in honor of their three sons, all survivors of the crash, who love all things super heroes, transformers, etc. and are actively a part of the club events on campus and within the community. Pictures were taken of students and staff participating, announcements were made by club members where they always signed off “Buckle Up, Phone Down, Drive Safe and Sober” and posts were made on the Brittany’s Kids Instagram account
