On 9-14-22 Dickson Police Department took the Seat Belt convincer to the Criminal Justice Classes at the Dickson County High School. Lt. Blackwell, Sgt. Chandler, and Mr. Patterson talked about wearing your seat belt and no texting and driving. Each student that wanted to participate was able to see the affect the seat belt made when on the Seat Belt convincer. The best components of the seat belt convincer is that the kids didn’t realize at such a slower speed that the seat belt still engaged pretty hard to keep them seated. Which was a great reminder to always wear your seat belt.
