Initiated a “Slow Down Walker Valley Campaign” by placing signs that were placed at the entrance and exit of the school for 3 months along with sponsoring a School-wide Pickleball tournament to raise funds for Safe Driving Programs with The 24/7 Movement.
This campaign impacted more than 3,000 students/adults/parents and on campus guests and daily announcements were made at the beginning and ending of school each day reminding students and faculty that “Choices Matter – Buckle Up – Phone Down – Drive Sober.
The Pickleball Tournament had 76 students and teachers participate raising $800 towards for Walker Valley HS DUI Impairment Safe Driving Program.
The Campaign & Pickleball Tournament was student-led with the support of the Administration and Teachers.
