Our school hosted The 24/7 Movement’s Education and Awareness Booth, which provided students with valuable information on the dangers of impaired and distracted driving. The booth featured educational materials covering seat belt safety, rules of the road, and the risks associated with texting and speeding while driving. It also included elements of The 24/7 Movement’s story, along with interactive stations and demonstrations that allowed students to experience the effects of impaired and distracted driving. Two demonstrations, where students attempted to complete tasks or drive while texting, were especially eye-opening.
