TRAFFIC SAFETY EDUCATION – PSA Announcement

Project Description

Students took part in a traffic safety education outreach during a crosstown rivalry basketball game, bringing awareness to the importance of making safe choices behind the wheel. Between the first and second quarters of both the girls’ and boys’ games, a public service announcement was read by the game-day announcer while cheerleaders tossed free “Choices Matter” t-shirts into the crowd. The shirts featured the powerful slogan: “Buckle Up – Phone Down – Drive Sober.” In partnership with The 24/7 Movement, the following announcement was shared: “In memory of Dustin and Brittany Dillard, who were tragically killed by a drunk driver on Christmas Day 2022, the Bradley Central High School Administration and The 24/7 Movement want to remind everyone—tonight on your way home, and every day—that: ‘Choices Matter – Buckle Up – Phone Down – Drive Sober.’” “Join the Movement & Drive Safe.”
