Host a community event focused on traffic safety.
Partner with local organizations to plan and host a traffic safety event at your school or within your community. Your event can take many forms, including social media campaigns, viral challenges, virtual awareness events, in-person events, or collaborative efforts with community partners.
Start planning your event. Provided is a 3-Step Event Planning Checklist (courtesy of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and the CDC Event Planning Guide to help in preparing and carrying out your event.
Work with school administrators and school groups to coordinate. Set a date and goal for the event.
Upload photos or screens of your school completing the activity and click Submit Points. This activity can be submitted up to 5 times per school.
