Reduce TN Crashes, an initiative owned and operated by Tennessee Tech University’s iCube, values your privacy as you visit our websites and register as a user in our programs.

This iCube Privacy Statement (“Privacy Statement”) covers our use, storage, sharing, and disclosure of personal information we collect through our websites, including and its affiliated sites,,, and It also describes your choices regarding use, access, correction, and your ability to opt out of sharing your personal information with us at any time by deactivating your account for any of our websites. 

By using our websites or services, you authorize iCube to collect, use, store, share, and disclose your personal information as described in this Privacy Statement and any applicable addendums. Use of these websites is limited to those 16 and older, and parental consent is needed for anyone under the age of 16 to share any information through our websites.

Personal information is information that can potentially identify you as a specific individual. It includes your name, company name, address, telephone number, email address, location, and billing information. With the implementation of Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this personal information includes both direct and indirect identification under the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC. 

Some iCube websites offer users the option to register with personal information in order to authenticate users, verify submitted information, provide support, and send information to users with their consent through mailing preferences which can be changed (when offered by each respective site) by following the link in their email. 


We, and our partners, use cookies and similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level.

Log Files

We use Google Analytics to gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes the internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), and clickstream data. Why does iCube collect my personal information?

The personal information we collect is used by iCube and its service providers to:

  • Allow access to special services or other features;
  • Analyze and resolve website and application problems;
  • Conduct market research and implement marketing strategies;
  • Send marketing materials, even information, and newsletters;
  • And respond to customer service requests and help provide technical and product support.

It will also allow users to register for training or conferences, make requests that require a direct response, and receive newsletters and other publications.

iCube may use the mailing services of third parties that are authorized to use your personal information only for the benefit of iCube and our affiliates.

Social Media 

Our website includes social media features that link to our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages. These social media features and widgets are hosted either by a third party or directly on our website, and may collect your IP address, your browser type, also the specific page you are visiting on our website. Your interactions with these social media features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

With whom does iCube share my personal information?

We use an email service provider, MailChimp, to send out emails on our behalf on some of our websites. When you sign up for these sites, we will share your personal information only as necessary for the third party to provide that service. iCube may also share or publish non-personal information, such as statistical data that provides information on how our users are using our programs and how many people are visiting our websites. iCube will disclose your personal information when required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) conform to legal requirements, such as to comply with a subpoena or valid national security or law enforcement requests, or prevent fraud or imminent harm or, (2) protect and defend the rights or property of iCube.

Is my personal information secured?

Anytime you post on our blog or provide information, pictures, or any other type of personal information, data, or materials to forums, communities, or other social media platforms, please be aware that it will be publicly available and not subject to the terms of this Privacy Statement. Also, you may be posting using a third-party application, and we have no access to or control over such information. Please be aware that you are providing your personal information to these third parties and not to iCube. To request removal of your personal information from our blog, you can either log in to the third-party application and remove your posting/information or contact the appropriate third-party application provider. Your interaction with these features is governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

Public Profiles

The profile you create will be publicly accessible unless otherwise indicated. You may change the privacy preferences of your profile or delete your profile through your account settings. Alternatively, you can contact us at if you would like us to change the privacy settings of your profile.

Information Shared while Accessing Websites of a Third Party 

Our websites often include links to other websites with privacy practices that may differ from those of iCube. If you submit personal information to any of those websites, your information will be governed by their privacy policies.

What are my privacy choices?

If you submit personal information, iCube may contact you or send you marketing information, newsletters, or promotions about our programs. If you do not wish to receive this information, you may change your news preferences by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the emails you receive.

Can I access and update my personal information?

Upon request iCube will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. iCube will permit you to access, correct, or delete your information in our database by contacting or by logging in to your account and making the appropriate changes. We will respond to all requests for access within a reasonable timeframe.

We will retain the personal information we process on behalf of our users for as long as needed to provide services to our users, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We may change this Privacy Statement or related program specific addendums from time to time. If and/or when iCube makes changes to this Privacy Statement, the updated version will be posted in place of this statement.
